HOW THE GLASS WAS INVENT
Thousand of years ago some fisheermen campeed for tthe night on a sandy beech.after they went to sleep the hot coal from their campfire from their glowed far into the night.In the morning one of the men noticed a strange lump in the asshes.He had never seen a stone like it before.Puzzeled he picked it up and morning sunlight showwn righht through it.he saw sure that it had not been onn the beech the night before. Put the fire somehow have made this odd substance?
Legends say that thhis may be the wayy thatt people ffirst discovered glass . Glass is formed when sand is mixed wwith certainn chemicals in a very hot fire .Perhaps by accident all of these materials were mixed witth the sand on that beech.As time passed by  people found many uses for this new substance. Hundreds of yearrs ago castles had only high narrow opennings in their cool stone walls.Becausee thhee wind and weather blew in through them,they were called wind's eyes. This is where the English word Window came from. Weealthy people like kings began to use glass to cover these hols in the wals.
But glass was hard to make and very expensive even kings could not afford  glass for every window in their homes .
